trying new things

Hello friends,

I am migrating to WordPress, in the hopes that by utilising a site that I have to pay real cash money for, I will be a little more prolific! As with my old tumblr, I will be using this site to talk about my experiences as a first year teacher. I will also endeavour to use it to review books, particularly those that I am using for school (if I’m feeling really bothered, I might even write about how we’re connecting them to curriculum) and cataloguing resources I have used and enjoyed.

There’s not much time left in the first year, it’s true, but so much happens in the day to day, I’m sure there’ll be plenty to write about! I’m going to endeavour to write at least one post a fortnight, which might be a little ambitious in this last hectic term, but, if only for my own benefit, I’m going to give it a go.

Thank you for checking in on me, and for being even slightly interested in what I have to say. I genuinely love my job, and am constantly surprised by the things it throws in my direction which is why I am trying to get better at cataloguing the experience.
