While I have always felt old, this year has made me feel grown up. I'm more confident in my own abilities, more self-assured, I adapt with relative ease, and you know what? It's really bloody nice.

As I approach my mid-twenties I started to think about the possibility of children of my own (albeit, a few years in the future) and now, I'm not so sure that's something that I want. Right now, the future feels far too scary a place.
